KC SMART Runners is run by volunteers and funded by the annual membership dues and periodic fundraisers put on by the club. These funds are used to cover the day-to-day operating expenses needed to provide this resource to the running community in the Northland. If you’re interested in supporting our efforts outside of the recurring costs of membership and participation in fundraisers, any donation would greatly appreciated! KC SMART Runners is a registered 501(c)(3) charitable organization and as such your donation may be tax deductible. Please consult with a tax professional. Receipts can be provided upon request.
We now have Confirmed Charity Status accounts with both PayPal and Venmo. Donations can also be accepted via either of these methods. Please be aware that the account name associated with these accounts may show as Road Runners Club of America as our parent organization. However, rest assured that these accounts are specific to KC SMART Runners and all donations received will go towards the club and not the parent organization.
