KC SMART Runners (Kansas City Saturday Morning Area Roads and Trails) was organized to provide a community-based running organization that empowers the northland area of Kansas City, Missouri runners of all skill levels to participate in the sport of running in pursuit of enjoyment, health, well-being and competition. We welcome all skill levels from fast Boston Qualifying runners to just recreational runners to trail runners and even walkers that will one day be beginning runners.
Kansas City Saturday Morning Area Roads and Trails (KC SMART) Runners Club was established in December of 2021. We are a 501c(3) organization and the newest Kansas City member of the Road Runners Club of America. KC SMART Runners is a place where we believe in Runners helping Runners. We have members that are fast Boston qualifiers all the way to run walkers just getting started for the first time and everything in-between. We have people training for all the upcoming races at all different paces.
